That is a clever device for having WiFi. You should also be able to Bluetooth it while driving, so collecting phonecalls while your hands remain on the steering wheel. Called Blue&Me, originated by Fiat, you may be able to get it installed in your own car.

I use an iPhone 4 right now but with the PS Vita coming out, its only a matter of time before it gets modded to become a phone so I'd definitely try one of those out!

If you have the money! These iPhones are expensive. Are you sure you're not being manipulated by mass marketing and cleverly worded advertising? The iPhone 4 is the pinnacle by which all other smartphones aspire to, but for their OS, cannot achieve the same Apps which Apple sell in their App Store. Why are you seemingly so dissatisfied in wanting to get into PS Vita? If I was lucky enough to own an iPhone 4, my feelings would be flying as high as a kite! Fabulouis phone! But at a cost.

We have magazines T3 and Stuff. These two are a copywriter's dream. Glossy pictures of fab phones and gadgets make people want for more. People never seem content with what they got. And why mod gear? if you tamper with it, then you'll lose the manufacturer's guarantee. If it goes wrong, you're stumped. Be content with owning the world's best smartphone, but be also aware that all these new fangled ideas being marketed will end up owning you, getting you to spend more money and more, and never being satisfied with what you got.

I have an HTC Desire. It's got a great screen, I use it for messenging, emails etc and have a few Apps. Admittedly nowhere like the thousands that Apple sell, but I'm happy with my phone. It's great, and didn't cost me any more than £10 per month on a contract of 12 months' renewable. I didn't pay for the phone. It came free. Its call quality is fantastic, and its screen is just amazing. Be happy with what you got. Spend your cash on something else.

I have an iPhone 4 because... I don't know why I wanted one, but I wanted it, and I'm close to saying it was worth every penny. It is by FAR the best phone I've ever had. There's a reason Apple advertise their products like that; it's because they're good products, even if a little expensive. The amount of free apps out there in the App Store mean you don't have to buy any apps and you still get quality from it. Yes I bought into the hype, an there's a damn good reason people are hyped up about it.

The reason I want a PS Vita is because I'm an avid gamer, not because I need a new phone, but because I love the features of the Vita and it's a damn powerful mobile gaming system, a lot more so than the iPhone. The PSP and DS don't really support what I look for in a gaming system, but the Vita damn well does. The only reason I'd wait for a phone hack is because phone functionality would be a bonus - if you have one you're tied into a contract for 3G, so you might as well get a bit more out of it too.

Then maybe you should consider a customizable Alienware gamer's laptop? Although it weighs a lot and you could wheel it along in a spescial protective case, you'll have the best of both worlds then.

It all costs money, smartphones, contracts appertaining to them, apps or otherwise. If I had time for gaming, I'd go for a laptop such as that and keep the iPhone.

I switched earlier this year from Motorola (had a Tundra) and am not planning any immediate switch though I can definitely tell you I plan on staying with BlackBerry for awhile.
